Hebrews 11:6
“And without Faith it is impossible to please Elohim, for those who come to Elohim must believe that He is…” NASB
It does not get any clearer than that, and if Faith is the main factor in our relationship with our Creator then there is no way to force our beliefs onto anyone else. So why do we seem to try so hard to do just that? It has nothing to do with our belief, nothing to do with the evangelistic call off King Y’shua Messiah, but it has everything to do with our pride and our security. We try to make others see our way just to make us feel better about our own beliefs and about ourselves. It must stop if believers are ever going to fulfill the call of our Lord to share the Word with others.
All human being learn from experience more than anything else, therefore, we must show others the Word of our Lord through our actions not by our words. I was Stumbling in the Net a few days ago and stumbled across THIS which shows a great example of what I am trying to share in this post. So I placed the link in this post in hopes that you would read it even if you do not finish this one. If you are still with me, let’s talk about Faith!
Hebrews 11:1
“Now Faith is the assurance of hope, the conviction of things not seen.” NASB
There is no better definition of our belief in our Creator than this one above, and for that reason we should look carefully at this verse describing Faith in hopes that with a better understanding comes a better appreciation and usage. To be assured of hope is to be completely convinced, and conviction of an unseen object or event is exactly how scientist see their theories. Faith is Faith no matter what the belief is in. However, the question is what to believe in? I have spent a life time learning, studying, and absorbing knowledge that at times tends to bring doubt into the validity of the present Bible we read. There are only two ways to truly look at Bible validity: one way is to trust exactly what you read, or slightly adjust what you read to fit the Truth inside your heart. The first way is to be ignorant and led blindly down a road that you can pretend is Faith, or the second way can be done though vigilant study WITH the Blessed Holy Spirit–that tiny little voice inside your heart.
Let me give you an example:
Some of the finest Theology Scholars in the world understand that if you read the oldest manuscripts from the fourth century you will not read one of the most important stories in the Bible today! The “Throw the first stone” story in the Book of Saint John. Of course most of these fine scholars do not believe that King Y’shua Messiah confronted the mob about to stone a woman for adultery. They think that it was added later to the Bible. I believe that one day they will find in the millions of documents from the cave of Qumran that exact story which was indiscreetly removed so the Kings and Popes of the fourth century could call upon their followers to kill in the name of God!
Why do I believe this way?
Simple; I have come to know our Creator in such a way that I am convinced that King Y’shua Messiah would react exactly like it states in John 8:1-11. I believe this because there is no ambiguity in the Gospels where King Y’shua Messiah plainly states His feelings on forgiveness Luke 23:34. The Bible today is full of God’s forgiveness and as it was when it was first written.
Study and then believe! If you apply the Word of God as an entire single Word; to apply the Spirit of the Bible whole into your life and not pick and choose specific verses to live by you will not have to concern yourself with the possibility of a single verse being wrong. The Bible in its entirety has a general theme to live by and that is what you sink your beliefs into.
