Welcome to the Journey

We can remember when dinosaurs had tails that dragged on the ground. The problem is not that science gets it wrong from time to time. What is a very big problem is how science gets it wrong; they usually state their calculated theory as a proven tangible fact. Such was the case with the “Scopes Monkey” and the list goes on and on. Unfortunately, that type of zeal is displayed in Christianity also. So many issues are raised and presented as God’s Word without the conviction form the Blessed Holy Spirit and proper research.

How wonderful would it be for a union of sorts between science and faith! Just a simple journey to find the Truth. Is  that what a relationship with the Creator is all about? We think so, in fact that is exactly how our relationship with the Creator began and is maintained! That is the reason we never stop learning or searching for truths, as well as maintaining this blog. Just a simple journey to find the Truth.

2Timothy 2:15

“Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, handling accurately the word of truth.”  NASB

This word “approved” is from the Greek word, “Dokimos”, which was used to describe people of the highest integrity. How can we be “approved” to God without sincerity in our approach to study? Not only must we never stop learning and searching for the truth, we must also be readily available to the truth wherever it may be found. We must never be hesitant to consider an error in our findings. Always allowing the Blessed Holy Spirit to work freely in our studies to reveal all truths.

John 16:13

“But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.”  NASB

Can you just imagine where we might have been today if science and faith had merged their paths to one primary goal of discovering the truth four hundred years ago? The possibilities are endless, and that should be enough to inspire us to do it now! Unfortunately, the powers that be, are not interested in the truth; in both camps they are more concerned with “turf”.

When the Messiah told that young man to “sell everything” in order to follow Yshua, He was not just talking to that young man, nor was Yshua meaning just material belongings (Luke 18:22). Yshua Messiah was speaking to us all telling us to let go of everything that will keep us from following the Truth. The problems of today are immense, but they can be changed by each of us working on ourselves.
