Welcome to the Journey

Passion Journey

Isaiah 41:28-31

“Do you not know? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth does not become weary or tired. His understanding is inscrutable. He gives strength to the weary, and to those who lack might He increases power. Though youths grow weary and tired, and vigorous young men stumble badly, yet those who wait for the Lord will gain new strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary.”   NASB

Thought I would get a little personal with you on this Sabbath. Because while you are reading this I will be administering the matrimony rights at my oldest son’s wedding at June Lake. Which actually has a lot to do with this week’s scripture. About a year or more ago I was feeling extremely sorry for myself; my MS had just remitted from a year long remission that was great–the remission, I mean. For those of you that are not familiar with the working parts of MS I will share just a bit with you. Whenever MS goes into remission it has a mean little spiteful way of returning–it comes back worse than when it left. It is bad enough that it comes back at all, but when it get worse it really sucks.

So by the grace of God I watched a DVD of Louie Giglio that blew me away! There was no doubt that God was talking straight at me, and this week’s scripture was a part of that talk. If you have never seen the “How Great is Our God” Louie Giglio DVD, and you are feeling as if there is no real God in your life at times–please get this DVD. It may be the best twelve dollars that you will ever spend. If you feel that you would truly like to see this DVD and cannot afford the cost I will try to get you a copy–God willing!

The video introduced me to the cell adhesion molecule-Laminin, that is inside of me this very day. My myelin sheath may be a little damaged, but my Laminin is still holding me together and has been and always will! Thank you GOD!

On to June Lake!
