Welcome to the Journey

Odyssey

For each Sabbath message that we post by the Grace of the Blessed Holy Spirit we truly attempt to be the vessel that our Messiah can use to get His message out for that week. We believe that for whom it is written will read it. This week’s message has been heavy on our hearts now for months if not more and we pray that the Words of God may come through no matter what we intend to type.

Isaiah 5:13

“Therefore My people go into exile for their lack of knowledge; and their honorable men are famished, and their multitude is parched with thirst.” NASB

You can go as far back as before Noah’s times to see society after society rise and fall: The Tower of Babel, early Israel, Babylon, Persia, Greek, Roman, right up to Ottoman, European and American. Empire after seemingly indestructible empire fallen and forgotten for the most part. With each one we can see the same pattern of a highly focused, disciplined society that became fat, lethargic, and unethical. The USA is there! We have gotten to the point of no return, because we are not capable of seeing the forest through the trees.

Isaiah 48:17-22

“Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, The Holy One of Israel; I am the Lord your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you in the way you should go. If only you had paid attention to My commandments! Then your well-being would have been like a river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea. Your descendants would have been like the sand, and your offspring like its grains; their name would never be cut off or destroyed from My presence.

“Go forth from Babylon! Flee from the Chaldeans! Declare with the sound of joyful shouting, proclaim this, send it out to the end of the earth; say, ‘The Lord has redeemed His servant Jacob.” And they did not thirst when He led them through the deserts. He made the water flow out of the rock for them; He split the rock, and the water gushed forth. There is no peace for the wicked, says the Lord.” NASB

Time has run out, the proverbial not so skinny lady has sung her very last note, and the US is going to go through some painful, but very necessary changes that will bring her out onto the other side; where she can once again bring hope to the hopeless.

“Whilst the sun and moon endure, America shall remain a city of refuge for the whole earth, until she herself shall play the tyrant, forget her destiny, disgrace her freedom, and provoke her God.”–Reverend George Duffield pastor of Pine Street Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia, Pa. May 1776
