Welcome to the Journey

“In the beginning was the Word ….”

It was there in the beginning, and will be there in the end. The translation for “Word” as used in the first verse of Saint John’s Gospel written in Greek means roughly, “the spoken word”.

In the beginning was the voice of God.

Can you here it?

The reason I ask is because so many people claim to hear “It” clearly, and yet I have read the Book of Saint John more times than I can count, but I still find the first few lines enigmatical at best–as is much of the Bible. I believe there is a reason for this and it comes from God’s request for His followers to be obsequious in not just our public walk with Him, but also in our understanding of life itself.

The biggest problem today, besides greed and selfishness, is our pride, which leads us to our opinion that not only is there absolute truth, but that we are in possession of it! In reality there are so few absolute truths, that one can count them on one hand. When it comes to the Bible we must be adamant in the understanding that it was written for an individual walk with our Creator. Even if we learn Hebrew and Greek so that we can read the Word of God in its original form it will still be difficult to agree on the meaning of every line.

When one considers how difficult–maybe even impossible–it is to objectively and correctly translate the Bible into English from Hebrew or Greek one can see the need for each of us to read the Word of God and find its meaning on our own. No doubt others will influence your thoughts, yet as long as they are in the end your thoughts that is what an individual walk with your Creator is all about.

Life is learning, and learning can be thought of as applying thought to activity. That is why King Y’shua Messiah clearly told us to consume Him. To have a hunger for everything that is King Y’shua Messiah. To search to the ends of the earth and back again–never stopping your search to discover as much as is humanly possible for who and what is King Y’shua Messiah (John 6:41-66).

Acts of Change

Here at Cepher we believe that the events that were recorded in the Book of Acts were not only true historical events, but that they have been ongoing events since the first century. Unfortunately, we have drifted so far from the true “Way” (Acts 9:2, 19:9 & 23, 22:4, 24:14 & 22) that today we have only a shadow of the True Gospel, and have only a slight idea of what it means to live within that Gospel. Even the bits of Truth that still exist in churches today are emphasized in the wrong order of priority. Some focus on this part of the Gospel, others focus on that; when in Truth all our focus should be in one place–on King Y’shua Messiah.

An example of what it means to completely focus on King Y’shua Messiah– God’s example for us–can be found in the letter to the Philippians chapter two verses one through fifteen. Here we can easily see why there is so little of the power of the Blessed Holy Spirit in the churches today compared to two thousand years ago.

The True disciples of King Y’shua Messiah are those who match exactly the description of God’s followers as written in Philippians chapter two. They seldom, if ever, find notoriety useful, needed or desirable. They understand where the Power comes from and who deserves all the credit. True disciples of God are simply humble and willing bond-servants dedicated completely to God.  They would never accept any material gain for their obedience to God from those who received benefit from that obedience.

It comes down to this;

The Word of God today has gone through some infamous times in the past two-thousand years, but it has withstood the test of time, as made evident by the “Dead Sea Scrolls”. Certainly there has been controversial conjecture on the part of some scholars in regards to the legitimacy certain books in the Bible, and that entire line of thought is irrelevant to Faith. Either one believes that the Bible is the Word of God or one does not. If you believe that the Bible is the Word of God, then you should continue in that Faith with the understanding that as it is the Word of God, God will see to it that His Word will always remain the exact design that God so desires.

Can you imagine a god that can create all of existence, and yet not be able to maintain the publishing rights to His own manuscript? Or a god that leads his followers to believe that he wrote a book that all his followers must read and adhere to, although it was just a joke? Can you imagine a god that would go to all the trouble of dying on a cross for his people just to let them become mislead by a fraudulent publication?

Therefore, believing that the Bible is the Word of God, and that the Bible states that the Blessed Holy Spirit will be our instructor of that Book, it is incumbent on us as the True disciples of King Y’shua Messiah to study, learn and “eat” the Word of God so that the Bible becomes who we are. Through this process we will discover that it is an individual endeavor, and that we should not expect others to follow along after us. The only leader any of us should be following is King Y’shua Messiah, and we certainly should not expect others to follow us.

I had felt for many years that there were other writings that the Apostles read that were not included within the Bible. Once I began this journey with the Blessed Holy Spirit teaching me the Word of God I was lead to other writings that were referenced in the Bible, but not included. These other writings became a great gift to my learning the Word of God, and if the Lord desires that you also should be blessed with these others writings I am certain that the Blessed Holy Spirit will lead you to them personally as it was with me.

True followers of God will not compromise or force their beliefs onto others. True followers will simply follow King Y’shua Messiah in His exact steps one at a time.

The Winds of Change

They’re here. Can you feel them? The threshold has been crossed and the change must now take place. The Winds that are blowing have less to do with our climatic atmosphere than they do with our Spiritual atmosphere–this Wind is the Blessed Holy Spirit (The Hebrew word for wind is also the word for Spirit–Genesis 8:1, Exodus 15:10, Numbers 11:31, Ezekiel 37:9). Here at Cepher we think it is for the better because people will not change on their own. We are an obstinate people, a stiff-necked people who do not listen to reason, only to force (Exodus 33:5). And now that force is the Force of Nature (both climatic and human) that will continue to place a strangle hold on this country until we relinquish our hold on it.

We have had a decade of warnings to make the necessary changes and we have gone in the opposite direction. Instead of changing our ways and becoming completely submissive to King Y’shua Messiah, we have leaned onto our own understanding while depending upon our own strength. Big mistake! Just as Saint Peter did on Gethsemane (Matthew 26:52). Do not misunderstand this post; we are not advocating for the Ten Commandments in our schools, we are advocating for them to be in are hearts!

The climate, the economy and the morals of this nation will change. Unfortunately, it will get much worse before it begins to get better. But it will get better! Not in our life time, but in lifetimes to come. That is what this life is all about, not our life, but another life. Until we begin to live for others as King Y’shua Messiah showed us two millennia ago, that we still refuse to emulate, we will never be His disciples. Shame on us!

Economy, food, water, climate are all becoming less and less accommodating until we–the citizens of the USA– as the leading example of this earth, finally begin to live within the means of this planet in respect to all the other human beings on this earth. As long as we (Americans) continue to live as if we own everything, acting as if as long as we desire it, we deserve it, we will indeed get exactly what we deserve–as we are seeing at this very moment ( Genesis 6:6, Jonah 1:2, Exodus 32:7-10, Matthew 23:37-39).

Make no mistake, we cannot fix this! All we can do now is attempt to improve the chances of our next generations. That is not a bad thing. Please follow along: Read the rest of this entry »

God and Science?

“The more the fruits of knowledge become accessible to men, the more widespread is the decline of religious belief.” –Sigmund Freud

Never has one man been so blatantly wrong and still looked upon as a god like Sigmund Freud. Statistics show that spirituality is growing right along side of education world-wide! The more people learn about science the more people understand that one needs just as much faith for science as is needed in spirituality.

“Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind.” –Albert Einstein

One is not more important than the other, each are needed to understand the other. God did not create stupid people, we are just lazy. Maybe, that is why each of us use less than 15% of our brains. I f we would allow the Truth to set us free we would begin to see the world as our Lord Created it. There should be no division between science and God. After all, if it exists within the universe it was created by God, therefore any law of science is there by the Creator’s Hand.

For the Agnostics who find it difficult to believe in an omnipresent being they should consider the weight of objects in space that our of the size of a regular marble weighing some hundred-thousand tons. Other than the calculation itself there is nothing on earth or in space that we can see to help us comprehend a marble with the mass of hundreds of thousands of tons. There is only one thing that would allow one to accept that calculation as factual, and that is faith; faith in the math. Because as of yet no one has seen such an object; and black-holes(?) we won’t even go there!

And for the Six-day Creationist maybe you should think about time versus God. There is no time with God (2Peter 3:8 & Psalms 90:4), therefore if He took six days or six-hundred million years it should not be as big of a factor as many make it. The Bible states that on day four God created the moon and the sun which should indicate that a measurement of time for the first two so-called days would be difficult at best (Genesis 1:13-19).

The point is; belief is crucial to everything in a conscious life, and we here at Cepher prefer to believe in what we know is real, and beneficial to all humankind. The more we get to know our Creator the more plausible it is that He created life with an evolutionary process, to what extent no one really knows, nor is it as important as living a compassionate life.

Here at Cepher we consider ourselves somewhat monkey-like compared to God anyway.

It Is Finished!

Years of praying, months of planning, weeks of preparation, fifteen days of actual production, and by the grace of God we now have Holy Oil as per God’s instructions in Exodus 30! I only wish you could smell it, the smell of this oil is beyond explanation it is what I would imagine peace would smell like if it had a scent. The smell of this oil gives one a warm sense of security and comfort while at the same time a feeling like you want to consume it, this oil smells delicious. I have never smelled anything like it in my life! My olfactory senses are fantastic, and I thing that is because I am colored blind, therefore, I cannot describe the color of this oil, although my daughters say it looks like iridescent gold.

I am so excited about how this all has turned out so far, and yet I have some concerns on the proper way of asking for the Lord’s anointing on this oil. Knowing how this journey has been led by the Blessed Holy Spirit, and seeing the end result assures me that the Lord will provide me with the precise spiritual procedures for the blessing of this oil. It is because of the obvious presence of the Blessed Holy Spirit in this project and the tremendous results that make me feel so unworthy to be the one to ask for God Blessing on this oil. In every detail the Lord has guided me through with whispers and examples. I would either get an idea followed up with research for confirmation or I would come across information that the Lord would confirm through His Word. It was simply magnificent and such a growing experience!

Not surprisingly, Holy Oil has a natural healing quality with antibacterial and analgesic properties. Hey, let’s face it, God created this world intertwined with laws and tactics that if followed properly will result in a better life. Human beings have just not been paying attention.

This pic does not do justice, but it is the best I could do. It is slightly more than a half gallon.

The Clock Is Ticking ?

Today life seems as if the clock is ticking, and no one can tell time. Is there a sound in the forest when a tree falls and no one is there to hear it? Yes, the same sound as one hand clapping.

Here at Cepher we do not readily support conspiracy theories, but we do support the Truth whether or not it is popular. In the past two decades we have seen extreme changes in the “spirit” of humankind that has not readily acknowledged by the media, academia or general public. This “change” is talked about in small groups only, and without the transfer of such discussions between these groups. These groups are of a wide swath of the population of the globe and only very recently have they began to compare notes between themselves via the Internet. This “note passing” has been very fruitful in helping us at Cepher to develop the possible scenario that we would like to share with all of you.

First of all, we must always acknowledge the work and function of the Blessed Holy Spirit to provide God’s people with the Truth to lead and direct His people in their lives with God. That leadership is specifically designed to enhance our lives by keeping us from harm’s way if we are obedient to God’s Word. Isaiah 43:1-7 tells us almost all we ever need to know about what has occurred and what is coming.

At no time in history has there been the number of people as angry as there are today. Desperate, angry, and hopeless are the ingredients for ultimate disaster. That is what we have here today with gangs out numbering police and better armed, an economy in distress,  and a government that no longer works for the average citizen, within a global atmosphere that is in far worse condition than the USA.

Is it H.A.A.R.P, manipulating the weather and brainwaves? Is it the Illuminati taking over the world? Is it simply humankind falling apart as so many times before? Or is it a combination of all these and more being used by the very spirit that attempted to take King Y’shua Messiah’s life?

Hopefully, you know which idea we consider true here at Cepher, the Bible is specific in advising God’s people to realize that there are two very distinct dimensions that affect the lives of all on earth. Those two dimensions are what our five senses can detect and what our sixth sense can feel; these two dimensions are separated by the tiniest of membranes that allow the passage of only the most specific energy–Spiritual Energy. One dimension is our physical world and the other dimension is the Spiritual world. Within the Spiritual World there are evil as well as good Spirits, and it is the evil spirits that manipulate willing people to do some of the most horrific activities.

The evil have no power over us just as the good spirits have no power over us, in fact, it is us who hold the power (Luke 10:20), and yet we instead allow the circumstance to toss us around lake waves in the sea. Does the Extremely Low Frequency created in the H.A.A.R.P. programs around the globe affect the weather? Scientist believe that it can. Does the E.L.F. of the H.A.A.R.P. project affect the brainwaves of human beings? Scientists believe they can. Are there and have there been extremely wealthy, powerful families that have had extreme influence on the globe? History tells us so. Is there any reason for God’s people to become alarmed at the developments?

Again, here at Cepher the answer is emphatically–NO!

There are bad times ahead, and God will see us through each and everyone. Look at every difficult and surprising situation you face as another adventure and just another reminder that God is there for you if you desire. In our lives here at Cepher we have been through the ups and downs of life enough to realize that as long as we are receptive to God’s direction, and we are willing to trust Him completely we will not just survive each negative encounter of our lives, but we will benefit greatly from each encounter by growing stronger in God’s direction.

Mark 6:13

“And they were casting out many demons and were anointing with oil many sick people and healing them.” –NASB

This is one of many scriptures informing/instructing followers of the benefits of Holy Oil. The instructions for the Holy Oil are like the instructions for everything else in the Bible–they are there for our benefit, but only if we are obedient to the Word of God–by applying the instructions to our lives. It is that obedience to the Word of God that is the most important thing for all followers to learn. It is through obedience that we learn to Trust our Creator, it is through that Trust that we learn total dependence on God, and it is through that dependence that we learn just how truly remarkable God’s Agape Love really is.

This dependence on God will be the deciding factor of survival as it has been for millennia. Throughout time we see where those who followed God completely have always managed to persevere through the toughest of times. Times are about to get considerably tough, maybe about as tough as they have been in decades . It does not take a prophet to see what is coming on the horizon. There are some very dark clouds on that horizon, and I am not referring to famine, drought, war, disease, climate change or population overload, which are already prevalent in various parts of the world today as they have been for thousands of years . The clouds on the horizon that I am making note of are filled with anger, hatred, selfishness, laziness, divisiveness, and an inability to see the trouble ahead. These are clouds that cannot be stopped with anything other than a “Spiritual Awakening” much like the one the First Century Believers experienced after the Ascension of King Y’shua Messiah.

For that Awakening to occur we need to look back to the time of the First Century Believer just before King Y’shua Messiah left the earth. First, we must remember what the expectations of the First Century Believers were concerning the coming of the Messiah. For most, they thought that God was sending them an army general who would decimate, by the sword, everyone who would not follow God. Unfortunately, since it obviously did not occur then, many people today believe that it will occur within our lifetime. What did happen at the time just prior to the “Ascension” was the passing on of the Sword of the Spirit (Ephesians 6:17), the Blessed Holy Spirit to all those who were true followers of God (Acts 2). The Sword of the Spirit is the Word of God which can only be truly understood by the help of the Blessed Holy Spirit.

Before the Blessed Holy Spirit could be passed on to all the followers, directions had to first be followed by the followers. Those directions were given by King Y’shua Messiah, and had to be followed to the letter in order for the followers to be in the right place at the right time. Because without the Blessed Holy Spirit the followers would have had no chance to survive what was about to occur. All the way back to the beginning we can see this basic truth–God’s blessings require our obedience. From the Garden of Eden, and Noah’s Ark, to the gift of the Blessed Holy Spirit, God’s blessings were interwoven with our obedience.

Why Am I Here?

Have you ever asked yourself the esoteric question of existence? You have if you have ever lost the original reason you believed you were born for. Those of us that have been injured to the point of no longer being able to continue our prior existence have no choice, but to ask why we are here. In my case everything I did to make a living was completely dependent on my physical abilities. Once I had lost those abilities I was forced to begin living in a completely different existence than I had become accustomed to.

Why? For some, living without reason is perfectly acceptable, but not for me. It has always been important to me to analysis as much of life as I could, and my sudden disability was something I needed to get an understanding of. At first, I thought it was just a matter of changing occupations. So I found various jobs that were completely different from law enforcement, but no matter what job I chose my health continued to decline until the point of near death.

Through all I experienced it became obvious to me that God was not creating any of this negative activity in my life. I had walked into it by shear obstinacy refusing to heed the call of the Lord for decades of my life until finally I had given God no other option. Like a father with a stubborn child who refuses to learn the easy way, God was forced to stand by and watch me walk into the darkness until I eventually stumbled and badly injured myself. Only then was I weak enough to call for God’s assistance, and humble enough to accept it. Of course, He immediately responded with an overwhelming Love that I had never experienced.

Raising six children with my wife has helped to make all this very clear. God is Love. His power and His entire existence is that Love. Once I felt that Agape Love for the first time in my been set free! Once a person realizes that the Creator is not waiting for His creation to make a mistake so He can punish it. That person then begins to understand the nature of a relationship with the Creator. All of the characteristics that God desires to see in His people (1Corinthians 13) are the exact same characteristics that God possesses.

Once I had come to that understanding, I realized that if God has a specific occupation that He desires for me to undertake He will make that very clear. Otherwise, I am not to concern myself with whether or not I am in the correct line of work. What I need to concern myself with is whether or not those whom cross my path can readily see the Love of God through me.

The only way that the Love of God can flow through me is if I am obedient to God and allow His Son, King Y’shua Messiah, to take over my life.

In the mean time, I will be attempting to make Holy Oil!

My Opinion

Everything written in this blog comes from the deeply sincere beliefs of the author. Those beliefs include the workings of the Blessed Holy Spirit in everything in the life of this author. I write from over five decades of experience which includes the eventual and complete dedication of my life over to God. I am in total belief that those who will eventually read these post are directed to do so by the Blessed Holy Spirit. The same Blessed Holy Spirit that directs my thoughts and hands in writing these post.

That is why we have stated numerous times that you must incorporate the Blessed Holy Spirit into these post when you read them, and only if the post rings true in your heart is it meant generally or specifically for your life. Just because your curiosity leads you to read a post does not mean that post was meant for you, however, if it is meant for you, the Blessed Holy Spirit will make it very obvious to you by helping you understand it.

Again, we here at Cepher do not conform completely to the main stream Christian mega church ways of faith! We are followers of “The Way” (Acts 9:2), those “who were born of the will of God” (John 1:13). We believe that since the beginning of time there has always been a difference between those who believe in a god, and those who are following God.

Is one better than the other? Not in our eyes here at Cepher. The difference between the two is a matter of lifestyle. Those who follow God make God the only thing in their lives. Those who believe in God place Him in the center of their lives. This may sound like the same thing, but to a follower putting God at the top of a list is not the same as having God replace the list.

Ultimately, a follower’s entire purpose on earth is to develop the closest possible relationship to God a human being can achieve, viz., Enoch. To become one with Y’shua Messiah is a follower’s goal in life accomplished by complete dedication to the Word of God. This means to study and research the Bible while allowing the Blessed Holy Spirit to teach the nuance of the Word. We do not believe that every single word in the Bible should be followed literally. The Bible is our primary source of contact with our Creator, the starting point and the final step, without such we would be lost.

Imagine a life of pure bliss.

A life full of peace, satisfaction, and wonder.

Does such a life exist?

That would depend on your imagination.

Take my life as an example; one could view a man who has lived life burning the candle at both ends until recently. Someone unemployed, on disability, suffering from Multiple Sclerosis, Degenerative Disk Disease, Osteoarthritis, Barrett’s Esophagus, and Pancreatitis, over fifty years old and financially strapped, viz., a mess.

From another view; one could see (what I already know), a man who has been given a brand new lease on life by the Grace of God. Someone who has changed from a “control freak” to being completely dependent upon the Lord for absolutely everything in life. Someone who has no control of anything, nor the desire to have control of anything. This view would show a man who has had to learn how to trust in God for everything. A man who has learned through experience that God supplies everything a person could ever need. This view would show a man who will not change his life for anything, because this man has finally discovered what is truly important in life. This view would reveal a man who has come to the realization that he was never in control of anything in his life anyway, and that life was an illusion.

Everything that seemed so important in that life was killing me. Thank God His Hope kept coming back. A Hope that never gave up on trying to get my attention. First there was the broken neck, then a few years later a broken back. Then came extreme pain and agony in the years that followed until I became so sick with pneumonia and valley fever that I almost died. Still thinking that I was in control and I could get through this just like I got through everything else–pure physical force of will.

That was until I met “The Dragon”, That is what I began calling Multiple Sclerosis after a few years of suffering. Only MS suffers can understand why I would call it such. At first I took the diagnoses as I had anything else–I will beat this thing! Within a few years of soiling my britches, wee-weeing on myself, falling down–all in public, having seizures, and just having “cruddy” days, I finally crumbled down on the floor prostate to my God and asked for help.
